Istanbul, the place uniting cultures and history…

Istanbul is an amazing city that reaches 300 thousand years ago,  integrates west and east.It is in the center of Asia and Europe.It is a metropolitan city, so it keeps many cultures and types of people since many years.
     Istanbul that was the capital city of the Byzantine, Roman Empire and Ottoman Comunity,  keeps its old culture and follows modern developments. The historical effects of the Ottoman and the Byzantine Empire are seen in architecture of Istanbul. In museums and mosques, unique designs and figures reflect total of cultures.
     In history, many states wanted and tried  to conquer Istanbul in terms of its politic and spiratual value.It was the important point of transition for many states.At the end Fatih Sultan Mehmet conquered  Istanbul and it became the capital city  of the Ottoman Comunity.It was open to all different cultures and customs.Moreover, Turkish hospitality still continues.
     Istanbul is the most populated city in the Turkey and it has geographical and strategical importance in the world. It is sorrounded by Black sea and The Marmara sea, so this provides commercial , touristic and cultural advantage. Different types of lifestyles, religions, customs, people are seen in Istanbul thats why the city was chosen “The Capitol of European Culture”.
     Istanbul is known its seven hills, bridges, towers, palaces, bazaars and museums. Bosphorus has amazing view towards The Marmarian Sea. Sultan Ahmet mosque that has six minarets and unique decoration is the one important historical place. Hagia Sophia museum was built as a church by Emperor Justinien. Other one is Suleymaniye mosque that was built by Mimar Sinan. Topkapı palace is other cultural place.It has Sultan’ s costumes, jewels, harem and many valuable goods.
     The Egyptian and The Covered Bazaar are touristic shopping places that have antique, copper  products. These are attractive places for tourists. Moreover, trip in the Bosphorus, seeing Dolmabahçe Palace, Anatolian and Rumelian Castle is different experience.
     Istanbul improves modern structures and life style with protect historical values and places. For many years it is the host of many migrants and different cultures and it is well  known for many countries of the world.
